Special Mentions:
1. Sehwag: When Viru’s in that sort of touch, there’s not much anyone can do. In this kind of a shortened format, molesting the bowlers in Viru style even for 10 of those overs almost assures victory for his team. Notice that AB, Karthik, Mithun Manhas didn’t even have to adjust their butts, simply because Viru had moved his.
2. Ladda: Other than his last over, this guy showed a little bit of spunk in his quota. Could Delhi have found their 5th bowler? If so, there’s hardly any weakness in that team anymore!
3. Pathan: Yusuf does best when he just walks in and blindly goes for the shots. Trying to act smart by pushing him up the order to optimize his use for more overs doesn’t work too well. I think they tried it a couple of times last season too. Just let him come at his natural position. Try to get Martyn or someone else with some experience in for god’s sake.

Som, agreed. Ladda was quite competent , and seemed a better option than Yo Mahesh for now – for sheer variety and control.
DD look very dangerous, and Dilshan , AB haven’t even been required to break a sweat yet.
